#11 - Footprint

In the fall of 1973 Gia-fu Feng and I, along with two others from Stillpoint spent ten days camping and travelling in the national parks of the southwest. One day we made the long fourteen mile round trip down into the Grand Canyon and back up. After descending several thousand feet and going back aeons in geologic time we came to the Colorado River where we ate lunch and napped on a sandbar. Waking from my nap I took my camera and meandered around. This footprint, probably one of my own, caught my eye. While newly made, it has an ancient feel to it.
